Hi there,

All of a sudden the air bag front passenger has raised higher than the other four airbags in High mode and will not come down in normal mode -

Does this mean the airbag is stuffed ?
Can the airbag be deflated as it is full of air at the moment ?

Please help :-)

Hi there Guys,

I have disconnected battery for 24hrs when it first happened but no joy .

I am betting hopefully it is the height control rod as I had a mechanic remove and fit front lower bushes and he probably played around with control rod I hope.

I will have a look Tommorrow and I will let you all know.

Thankyou ;)

If that doesn't fix it, use the diagnostic plug in the boot to lower them. You need to bridge pins 1, 3 and 6

Well after talking to Pedders I have found front passenger Airbag is stuffed - I have made a decision to have Pedders do a Coil Over Conversion with wheel alignment for $2,300.00 -

Don't really want the problem of having the other air bags stuffing up in the future -

Adam, Don't get the pedders stuff unless it is bilstein and I know you won't get Bilstein for that money. The pedders don't have a good reputation for durability. Go the new air bags from England or at least look at Vincents coilovers, don't know what brand, there are some cheap ones on the market. Get the good stuff. If you like the air bag ride and you want to keep the car, get the new ones, not so expensive nowadays. My opinion anyway. Cheers John

Hello Everyone,

Update -
I drove out of the work shop today feeling great:-)
Yep I finally got Coil Overs fitted to my Soarer .

Yellow Speed Racing at
www.yellow-speed.com was the product brand that was used and Wholesale Suspension in Penrith NSW were the fitters who took 5 hours to do it and they new there stuff (Very Happy)

All up supply and fit including Wheel Alignment $1,600.00

Okay now I would like to sell the air struts that were removed (Front Passenger Side not working).

Can someone tell me the best way to do this ?
