Does anyone know the best place in Syd for an alignment? I'm in the process of removing the front lower control arms this weekend. (and having a terrible time with the ball joints!!!!! But will buy an arm puller tomorrow)

New bushes will be pressed in and then i'll have to take it somewhere mon/tues but am a bit nervous about where/who will do a good job, fit for my baby.

I just removed my front control arms, a pitman arm puller from Supercheap made it easy to loosen the ball joints :-)

I saw your earlier post Stephen. Wish I had a 32. Hopefully i'll have more luck tomorrow with the arm puller. Have you noticed a big improvement with the bush change? Mine weren't in need of replacement but they're pretty old now ('born' in 99) with almost 100k km's under them. They are due for retirement I think.

Still a work in progress, I did the steering rack bushes today two weren't hard to replace but the third on the top left, I left you would need to be a magician to change it or spend many hours to lower the cross member :-(

I think your steering rack would be more complicated than mine. I (well my brother- he does all my soarer stuff) didn't find the rack bushes too hard. That combined with the sway bar bushes - no, nothing you need to worry about hehe - gave the car a much more 'new car' feel.

Quick update:
Car is back together now. It's impossible to tell of any improvements as the alignment is now way off. We also fitted a carbing strut brace for good measure.

Full review soon after an alignment tomorrow!

Car now expertly aligned by Spinning Wheel Tyres in Waterloo. I can't recommend this place enough. My car was in good company along side a C63 AMG also getting aligned. It's comforting when your car is by far the least expensive in the vicinity.

It's still hard to tell how much of a difference this has made as it was a short drive home and the weather is terrible today. It feels direct and supple.

Steering/handling changes so far:
New steering rack, sway bar and front lower control arm bushes (all genuine toyota).
Power steering flush
4 wheel alignment
