Hey guys and girls. I've just picked up new 18x10 +20 rims And was wondering what size tyres you would run Car mainly sees hwy driving and will be seeing drift time Once manual goes in. I purchased 2 sets at a good price and thought why.not have a drift set and cruise set lol I know I'm going to have to roll the gaurds but do I need to pump? I'm currently away for work and want to order tyres for when I'm back so I have something to work on while waiting for other parts from j land. I'm guessing some strech will be good to help clear gaurds :$

I'd run 275/35 18 or 285/35 18. You will have to roll and pump for that though. 275/18 on an 18x10 +45 just slightly touches the stock plastic trim on an unmodified rear guard at -1.3° camber, so you'll be 25mm out from there. I'd guess about 7mm or so outside the stock rear quarter. I'm running 9's on the front at +45 with 245's and there's plenty of clearance, but you'll be 37mm out from there, so a similar position to the rear.

hmm thats ok i guess haha really should have thought about them before buying them but oh well i have spare front gaurds incase i stuff these its just the rear. i do have the option of swapping a set to 18x9+27 so i will end up with 2 staggered sets so 18x9+27 for front and 18x10+20 for rears would this be a better option?

18x10 +18 with 235's. Rolled guards, front gently massaged out slightly. front camber at max the stock arms allow

You will need to flare front guards a bit. I was able to fit 18x10 +12 kai's on max camber with 265's.. But.... On the road you will be screwed when you have to turn heaps and hit a bump lol. And say goodbye to inner guards and wiring looms.

235. far cheaper, far more common size. less sidewall flex for drifting. anything wider is a waste of money

40. 45 is a larger sidewall for larger cars like ve/fg

Cut out the guard liners and relocate the loom |

Yeah but just above the loom you will start hitting on the metal guard especially on lock at the front
