I've had the BC Racing BR's on for close to 12 months now, pretty happy with them. As per the HSD's they have full height range, and damper adjustability. Around $1100 delivered from memory, and I think the spring rates were 14F 10R (whatever the std rates were).

I know these are much more expensive but i'm looking to get a coilover that will retain some ride comfort. From what i've read Tom's Advox are really well suited to this. Doing a search on here comes up with nothing. Why are they so unpopular here? Price? RHD Japan sells them now for under 3k.

cheers mat, gary, lloyd, paul and david.
some good food for thought.
lloyd gorilla industries has toms coilovers with ~24k on them for 1k, I don't know much about them.
I wouldn't mind something a bit softer than drift spec style, not so much for comfort but for launching, I dont want to try to make my soarer handle like its a go cart, and rattle my teeth out haha.

I saw those gorilla industries ones. I have no idea if 24k is a lot for an aftermarket coilover or not? Standard suspension seems to last forever and go through a gradual decline.
I'm thinking the same as you. I want to lean to the comfort side of things as I use the car every day for work.

If you order BC's from just jap or option 1 (or most places) they will provide whatever springs you want with them. Normal is 14f/8r but you could probably get 10/x which would be quite a bit softer.

Yup, just tell the guys what you want and what they recommend. Some have adjustable dampers where you can fine tune your ride a little bit. Most will come with a "C" key for you to adjust the height if you want. Then you need to pull out 2 fuses to get rid of the error messages.
