It terms of shocks they can become harsh with age on high frequency compressions ie bumps in the road even though they are soft and floaty for larger low frequency compressions.

Looks like you need a new set of brake pads as well.

Installed the brakes over the weekend and did a full flush.

Piece of cake...

Can anyone comment on whether the shocks will behave badly after having stock springs put in to replace sagged/lowered springs?

The guys at Pedders think some shocks don't like it and it becomes bouncy because the shock gets used to sitting at that height.

Think I found the problem, I took the spare tyre out of the boot and the car immediately drove a lot better, I think the sagging rear springs are really bad.

I'll get new standard height springs put in and see how it goes.

New springs are in and the car feels alot better, no longer scrapes on ramps and I can drive with the spare tyre in again!
