My 31 came with coil overs as a replacement for the air bags and has had a suspension error message on the dash since I have had the car. I now find from the dash of my 32 does a system check and works through everything each time I start up, whereas the 31 stops its check near the beginning with a error message about my air bags, which I no longer have.
I removed the main fuse from the fuse box but this did not help remove the message, I can't find anything on SC that deals with this, can anyone tell me what to do to get my dash to ignore that check and just operate normally?
Tom said that there is something somewhere but I can't find it.

Did you remove the fuse in the kick panel? There's a group of fuses there then slightly towards firewall There's a row downwards only about 4fuses in there. 2nd? One down is airbags I think. Pull that one and under the bonnet pull that one also. And the switch in the boot I leave on otherwise it says off on dash all the time. Both mine are fine after this.

daniel, i have seen a fix for the error message when you convert to a manual if that is your problem.
something to do with earthing a wire to do with neutral i think from memory. ( check the switching that happens in an auto when you go into gear and maybe you can work it out. It is do with switching that is removed when you remove the auto)

Bugger the fuses, do something that is tried and true, remove the TEMS ECU. I have done this so many times and can guarantee you that it works.
The ECU is located in the rear left side wall by the passengers legs. You need to remove the back seats to be able to remove that panel then you will find both the TEMS ECU and the Fuel Pump ECU but you only want the TEMS ECU. Disconnect the plugs (3 I think) and then you will need a 10mm spanner or socket to undo the bolt mounting the ECU to fully remove the ECU. After removing it the put the panel and seats back in. Now you will have no more error codes for your suspension on the dash.
