Hi, overnight my front passenger side airbag goes down. It pumps up alright and stays up while driving, even for a few hours after turning the car off although it was a fairly hot day (which may have just caused a hole to close up). However the last few times it hasn't pumped up first time around and I've had to disconnect the battery. I turned the switch in the boot off once after driving it and having all corners up and left it overnight and it still went down, so would that eliminate a height sensor or electrical issue?. I'm quite sure it's the strut which is at fault, I have the strut out now, but was wondering how I can test it, as I don't have a hose connection, the pump I have fits in the valve but doesn't form a seal to stop air escaping. I'm still yet to check the compressor, but wanted to test the strut since I have it out already Cheers Adam

Cheers for the replies Allan, yeah it seems to be leaking from the top of the strut, very tiny can't see it with your eye. Couldn't view that link you sent, it said the video was private Hays, I'm gonna look for some second hand airbags with less k's on them than mine, as I don't expect to keep the car long term Tom, the airbag part was actually fine

Tom, don't these things leak from the top of the strut, the black seal, around the valves? That's what everyone on the forums seem to say. I put silicone around it but not sure if that will do anything.

i have changed them on a mates celsior and you could see the split in the side of the "bag" where the rubber had perished. poor some soapy water over it and see if it bubbles
