Hi all,
I have asked this question before.
Will a hilux crown wheel and pinion fit into a ssoarer pumpkin.
Only asking again as I just saw a torsen centre on ebay and he claims it will fit a hilux with using a three mm spacer.
So the crown wheel must be the same bolt pattern. Both 8 inch Toyota diffs.
der.just remembered I have a hilux and a soarer.
Best I stick my head under tomorrow and do some eyeball measurements.
Would be great to hear if any one has put the parts side by side.
Maybe on inspection it will be an obvious no.
I am chasing a diff ratio of maybe 4.3 to 1
All thoughts welcome.

i think it is the jza70 torsen that fits a hilux case, (with the use of a spacer). I've never seen anything on the net where the hilux bits have been fitted to a jzz30 or jza80 pumpkin.
there was a 4.3 sold on this forum about a year ago. From memory, the v8 owner had imported a crown wheel and pinion from USA, as one of the non turbo supras and the lexus SC400s run a 4.3 diff.

Ok so the 4.27 (4.3) ratio was used in the following applications:

1993-1996 USDM Toyota Supra NA (2JZGE) 4AT and 5MT
1991-1993 USDM Lexus SC300 (2JZGE) 4AT
1995-1997 USDM Lexus GS300 (2JZGE) 4AT

The part number for the ring and pinion is 41201‑80028.

@ALi Saed - So, if a Lexus SC300 has a diff with 4:27 ratio, a Soarer JZZ31 would have what ratio? The same I supposed.

Also, I see you are quite familiar with part numbers...Can you help me find the part numbers for all Soarer bushes? Upper-lower, front-back, sway, steering and diff?

no, the soarer never had the 4.27 ratio. No model, ever.

I bought the 4.27 from Lynden Phillips to put behind a t56 as the rpm was just a bit too low with the 3.9 v8 ratio it's now perfect, Lynden may be able to help you with where he got it from
