Hi Guys

I have a number of late 16" rims where the clearcoat has basically disappeared.
I have called a few guys that advertise a repainting service and it seems that rub them back a repaint them and then apply clearcoat.
Has anyone had this done or had any experience in doing it themselves? How did it work out?
Alternatively having them powder coated could be a go...again any comments appreciated.

Hi Steve, I'm a bit late here - but you can get plastidip also.
This is a cheap good looking fix which can be altered every time you get bored.

This is a rubbery paint material that can be used on wheels, rims, interior, exterior, and so on.
It simply peels off when no longer needed.

There is silver metallic and black sprays which look decent.

You spray black first - then spray silver metalizer over the top and it looks pretty good - sort of real.

It will last 3-6 months before really needing a new coat or what not.
