Hi,
My height switch on the console does not illuminate anymore, nor does the light on the dash.
Also, my drivers side front suspension is 1 or 2 inches higher than passenger side. This is too high.
Passenger side is normal height - as are all other corners.
I have reset the ecu's and left battery off for hours - car is always higher on the drivers side front. It's almost as if the drivers side front is stuck on high...
I did a diagnostic check and have a SUS error code. Code is #84.
I was told the code is the front right suspension sensor- it is 10mm higher than expected or something. I looked in another manual and the code is said to be the suspension height switch itself - not the front right suspension sensor thing. It said it was the little button on the console which isn't lighting up.
Can somebody tell me exactly what code 84 is please - and how to fix it? ------------------------------------------
Logic would suggest that a few turns would lower the soarer more than it is now, right? It would also suggest that if lowered manually with the rod, the suspension code should go away - right?
This all depends on what error code 84 means anyhow. Must take it step by step
Also, although the height switch does not illuminate or come up on the dash - the compressor still kicks in 3 seconds after turning the switch on and the car raises itself slightly.

Hi Tom, that's what I'm leaning on.
But I'm wondering what error code 84 is - is it the switch on the console not lighting up - or is it the suspension being too high?
I've read two different causes for error 84.
There is obviously something 'out' - the console switch won't light up, and the dash won't light up - but the compressor still works when turned on.
Is the switch malfunction causing the lopsidedness or is it the rod for sure?
Maybe the switch not illuminating as well as the dash light not showing up is just the bulbs - and the car being too high is due to the rod being slightly high.
Or maybe it is the suspension ecu playing up or something...
So - If i lower the rod, the car will sit level hopefully - but what about the switch not lighting up?
What happens when you switch to 'High Position' on the normal high switch, is it still RHS high? I assume you have checked the length of the front rods.

Hi James, when set to high mode - all the wheels raise - even the drivers side front. Although the drivers side front raises less than the rest of the corners.
I'll check again tomorrow to make sure the above is correct. Pretty sure the drivers side front still raises.
