I just bought a set of superpro sway bar bushes that were supposed to be for a 31 but the lower part that squashes to the body mount as you bolt it down seems to be too big compared to the original rubber ones and so when you squash it down the top part that raps around the bar squelches out of shape.

Has anyone had this problem and does it matter?

I had the exact same problem. I replaced my old rubber ones because I had a bit of a groan from the front end as I went over bumps. The Superpro bushes, as you said didn't fit correctly so I've still got the groan going over bumps, but over all it makes no difference to how the car performs

Hi Dan,
I have sent my arms away to have new Ball joints fitted, I already have new Vlamos bushes in them.
We will see what the result is.

If the noise goes then it will be you control arms?

There are 2 sizes in sway bar bushes alot of suppliers f##$ this up.
