I know a guy who has just purchased a GT-L soarer, standard from an old lady who used to drive it to church on sundays yadda yadda... you know the cliche..

Anyway, the air suspension is stuck on high, it wont move..

I've suggested disconnecting the battery to reset the ECU, he will do this tonight..

any other possibilities?

cheers.

Could be the high low switch that is broken, not allowing you to lower it back to normal.

I bought mine like that, the only way I fixed this is by altering the height rods lower :-)

Full reset. Check height switch, if broken it will be stuck on high..
If the car is at max height and won't come down it can be a fault in the Suspension ECU or the solenoid actuators. If all else fails remove the safety clips and pull the air line out of the front solenoids. This WILL lower the car; abruptly and a long way so don't have any protruding appendages in places where the car could squash them (hand on top of tyre is a good one; painful when the front guard comes down!)
I have a car in my garage doing just this.
If height is set to "High" it goes up but will never come down....just fixed it, it was the ECU.

Not sure yet, i have to get the analogue one in permanently first.
It will have ALL the normal dash faults fixed (not just 'blinky dash' which is just the tip of the iceberg.....and NO I won't give detailed info before anyone asks!) and already has full Blue conversion.
Probably in the $300 to $400 region.

Nice, but i'll probably do the dash myself. I dont actually like the look of everything blue but i will be putting a blue tube in for the bottom section.

However at some stage i will be sending my emv and assorted bits to you Mark to do the conversion/overhaul/magic that you do... :-)

I will eventually have another dash with purple speedo and tacho and everything else blue, or possibly white scroll section.
Exchange for another dash will be cheaper.

I would bet that eventually most dash's will end up with erratic tacho and/or speedo as well as other gauges and blinky dash that eventually fails completely along with an intermittent and eventually dead ECU....and suspension ECU and....

What would it cost to have you install one of these units?
