Yes it's possible.

Yes it's too much stuffing around.

After market air-bag suspension is way less hassle.......BUT why would ya wanna?.

It'd be easier to get a Ltd with a stuffed V8, and put a TT donk in it, if you want the Phssssssst! factor.

What Don said... *bahh bahh bahh*

After market kits are possible. The last time i heard it was around 5-7 grand for a kit. Cant remember if that was installed or not.

After that, you'll need an engineers certificate

Definately easier to put the TT motor in an airbag car. There would still be a few things to sort out especially if it had EMV too.

But then why would you want to put a heavier motor in the airbag car? If you must add weight just bolt a blower to the V8

Easiest way to go would be to find 4 good condition airbag struts and use an aftermarket control kit like the one just released from Dakota digital

http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/p age/ptype=product/product_id=131/categor y_id=71/home_id=59/mode=prod/prd131.htm

no change out of about $3k to do it i think

Aaron, you mean when you have learned something?

Mark does not qualify. He was born in 195* which I guess means his mother was an early experimenter and he would really like to know.

Neither do I, but I'm improving.

Can anyone out there tell me what are the symptoms/signs when it's time to change your suspension bushes, I have just recently bought a 91 limited v8, I love it but have no real idea how it should fell on the road.

Angelo.

Your car and bushes are 15 years old. Even if it has done low k's the rubber will have deteriorated especially the front lower control arms and steering rack.

I recently had all the rest of my bushes replaced - the fronts were done a couple of years ago and while my UZZ30 has only 110,000 km on the clock, the difference in smoothness is quite noticeable. I drive on a brick paved road every day, previously that would always pull the car a little to either side - not any more :-)

You should probably also have him look at the engine and gearbox mounts when he's at it.

... if you really want a smooth ride then replace the air bag suspension as well (if you've got a '31). It makes such a difference. It's just a bit expensive (almost $4k).

Aftermarket air will empty your piggybank by about $6500 fitted and engineered, or so I've found out before a mild stroke.

Jose, that was installed with genuine Toyota parts. Why would you use after market air?
