Hey guys, if anyone can help me out, it would be much appreciated. I have a 91 limited soarer with active suspension and the front is extremely low, in fact when i drive the wheel rubs on the guard above it.
I have tried to turn the battery off for a hour,
Checked that the switch in the boot works,
Checked that the compressor didn't have any water in it.
I've had the car on and jacked it up, to help it out.
But none of these great ideas worked.
Once I put a full vielside body kit on the soarer I did lower it by turning the rod on each wheel, but that was about 2 months ago and its been fine since then.
Last week the suspension decided to pup itself up for no reason but after driving it for a day it went back down. It done 170000klm on the clock.
Can anyone with anymore bright ideas share them with me please. Cheers John

Firstly, Active Suspension and Air Suspension are two vastly different things, NEVER to be confused.

Secondly,to this fine club of ours.

Thirdly, At the top of the page you will find a search button. Use this. It will uncover all sorts of mysteries.

Fourth, Look for the ALSC archives. there is 300 years of data in there and every problem known to man is covered there (except my power sttring problem)

Try resetting the suspension computer, or a general reset. (search)

Best of luck with it.

Could be a faulty suspension computer, or a faulty height sensor.

or solenoid valves.
Recent experiences would lead me to bet on the height sensors though.

The limited soarer Im buying had height controller or sensor of some sort that was playing up. Caused Unbalance height so it was replaced at around 170kms. This is probably your problem too.

Thanks guys it was the compressor, the thread on the top of it spun off and I needed a new one. All up this only cost me $500.
