Hey all, I'm in the process of lowering my car, wanna say a big thanks to Dave Storrie for the springs, I'm a happy man. Done the rears last night and ran out of light (stupid daylight savings ending) so I had to drive to work with the front still raised and needless to say I got some weird looks. Anyway here's some pics of the progress, will update when finished.

All done now, love it.

Not too low for speed humps and driveways so that's good, the ride is not too hard either.

Wasn't a hard job really, could have done it all in the first go but we ran out of light at 6:30pm, I need a decent shed.

That looks hot! How much lower than factory is it?

What type of springs?

Cheers!

Not sure exactly how much lower than factory, i'm guessing about 2 maybe 2.5 inches. I got the springs from a fellow SC member, and he told me they were custom made by a place called Ozzy springs.

What wheels are you running Luke, they look rather similar to mine, but with a slight difference...

Was it hard changing the springs? How long did it take you? Anything i should look out for when doing my springs?
Thanks

Ben, I don't know what wheels they are as they came with the car from Japan, I lost a centre cap and have been trying to find out. They have a logo called Sebring and on the back of the centre cap it says Rays Engineering.

Patrick, the springs were a piece of pi$$ to change, you'll need another set of hands ( or feet) to push down on top of the rotor to get the strut out.

You will also need spring compressors, and be careful fingers have been lost doing this.

Other than that, the only other tip is undo the swaybar at the rear from the chassis, it will make life alot easier than trying to undo the linkages.

Thomas , I don't think you seen me, Friday arvo I was at Kart Mania Gepps Cross and thats the closest I got to the city that day. But come to think of it I think I've seen your car at the Sail Master Hotel before, put a flier for the Barossa Cruise under the wiper.

Nathan, the rims are 17's mate, wouldn't mind upgrading in the near future
