I have been having a hard time recently finding comparitive information about various models/brands of coilovers.
I have also found that finding reviews for a broad range of sets over different cars is almost impossible!

The general theme on the old forums and new seem to be that TEIN Super Street's are all the go, given adjustability and comfortability, however i would love to hear about any other sets that people know about.

Is anyone able to provide resources for me to make comparisons, or perhaps someone is able to provide appropriate comparisons?

Cheers! =)

I'm using ones from garage section. There height and damper adjustable (8 way). I think the model is spec-r, can't recall. Anyway, they ride very nicely, better ride than lovell springs on standard shocks, and car handles very well. I've played around with different heights. I use to have it low, but rescently raised it up about 2cm on the front and about 3cm on the back. You can dump it quiet low (like wheels way up in the arch) or have it ride only a touch lower than standard on its highest setting. The springs rates are around 10kg front and 6kg rear, so there in the resonable ride quality catagory.

They don't have helper springs like some of the higher model teins, and there solid mount tops, so not noisey as driving around on.

I brought them second hand, but were practically brand new, only like 500ks on them, and cost me from memory $1500. Had them on for about 15 months now, never had one problem with them.

I'd class them as a street/circuit spec.
