Even just having the ps fluid bottle empty will set of this warning, I think this warning applies to any fault in the p steer system at all. I would monitor you p'steer fluid level and go from there

The rear steering rack is controled buy the ps pump most of the time, but at under 30 kmph or somthing like that, it is controled by a pulley system. Are you having any problems with either racks (mmmmm 2 racks)

Got around to adding some power steering fluid and the error is gone.I would think with such a smart car an error code saying steering fluid instead of 4ws would be better??Thanks for the tip.

It gets better. Keep an eye on your fluid level, if it drops again in a short amount of time you may have other problems, Let me know how you go
