Do any of you think there would be any trouble putting uzz31 air suspension into a jzz30?

I dont think it's stock, it was a direct bolt into the uzz31 just need to know if there are the same mounts etc in the jzz30's

Mechanically it should, however on the wiring side it would be a major job indeed.

As for why one would want to, any sensible answers escape me.

I LOVE the ride of the '31, but it's certainly not that advantageous over coil sprung suspension to warrant wanting to IMO.

And yeah, I imagine it would be a bastard of a job doing the wiring...

its air bag suspension, AFTERMARKET, that fitted into a uzz31, it isn't actual uzz31 suspension, more of a wank option

yeah, sort of lost interest now, cause the height variation is only 6 inches, can get other ones for around 1200 that go around 10-12, and much quicker

Remember that your suspension setup (camber in particular but also its dynamic behaviour) is correct at only one ride height. Every other height will perform worse and wear your tyres more. If you buy one of these things then decide your normal driving setting and have the car adjusted for that setting, then mostly avoid all the other settings when the car is moving.

The need for realignment is also there if you use the height adjustment rods on the UZZ31 as well.

Meh. I dropped mine heaps, didn't get it adjusted, and the tyres are still wearing evenly after 25 thousand.

Like Miles I've found that tyre wear is not much of a problem with varied ride height although i did have an alignment done at the most often used height.
Wear and tear on the bushes would be the biggest worry I reckon. (I have nolathane front bushes so no probs)
