Ahhh what are you telling me a R154 from a MA70 Supra doesn't fit into a JZZ30 ?
Different bellhousing (at least).
Does the MA71 gearbox fit the JZ with the correct bellhousing?
While we're on the subject ..... I remember reading a post (from Neil or Manny?) which said that the R154 in the pre-94 Soarer has the same non-remote gearchange as the JZA70. Is it also the same as the MA71?
There are very few JZA70s or manual Soarers in the UK, but plenty of rusty Supras. If the MA71 'box would fit, it would be much cheaper to import a Soarer/JZA70 bellhousing than to ship the gearbox.
