thanks neil i killed mine at the drags i did a 14.5 with 2.95 60 time and with no drive gear and lots of wheel spin

How did you kill it? Do you have a trans cooler fitted and use Toyota Type IV fluid?

Some how I doubt you have too much power for it. More likely abuse. I've got essentially a stock box. Just a shift kit, transcooler and bigger stall converter and it still works fine after many drag runs, and I've run a 12.4, and well run quicker soon with the same box.
