Here's what i have been doing lately....ripping out a manual and sticking in an auto...

These are 5 speed with lockup..they take 300hp and 750nm torque but rev range is a bit low at 4000rpm...

Low for a petrol Cihan.......thats the max input RPMs

Stall speed depends on your torque converter they have 5 or 6 different stalls available highest is about 3000rpm

Ah, well who'd want something from Mitsubishi, it'd break down and then nobody would be able to find what part number it needed, or the part would no longer be available, or so expensive it would be cheaper to replace the whole thing. Mind you, Mitsi trucks may be better than Mitsi cars I guess.

Na na you got it wrong...

I PULLED out the manual and fitted this auto...

It's an Allison 2500RDS tranny...

Mitsi couldn't supply auto in that size truck the only option is to regear....

Thats a hell of a job.

I watched a guy put a C4 ford auto behind a RB30 today, I kid you not, he had it bolted in under an hour! Crossmember fabrication took him less!!
