Hey guys,

I have been trialling Penrite "SIN" auto fluid in my box for the last few weeks and am impressed with the solid but smooth transmission performance.

http://www.penrite.com.au/html/s02_article/article_view.asp?nav_top_id=55&nav_cat_id=178&art_id=439

Has any one else tried this product, or the other "SIN" "Sharp shift" ??

http://www.penrite.com.au/html/s02_article/article_view.asp?nav_top_id=55&nav_cat_id=178&art_id=452

I have compared the technical data on the product data links, but I am not an expert so I am not sure if it is technically better ?

Any reasons to not keep using in the Soarer auto box?

Is this better than the OEM fluid ?

I have used most of the oils/fluids in the Penrite SIN range (apart from the auto tranny oil), and have always been impressed.

Thread resurrection!

But it saves me from asking this again, I found the Penrite SIN ATF's are priced very well, and that sharp shift stuff sounds great.

I've got the Stage 1.5 shift kit installed and was wondering if there are any benifits from running anything other than Dex3 ATF.

I also used SIN in my Auto Soarer and was very happy with it.

I am now using the manual eqivalent in my GT Starlet which are notorious for chewing syncros and becomming 'notchy' over time (much like the R154) .... so far so good !
