iv just been considering my options for the manual conversion on my v8. just wondering if anyone has used the castle main rod shop conversion kit to r154?

castle main? Do you mean Castlemaine in Victoria? Castletown in WA? If you are not sure what you are saying, get it done at Rush. If you really have no idea what you are saying, it might be safest not do anything at all.

ill be honest i sometimes dont know what im talking about when it comes down to all the lingo. thats why im a member of soarer central to get information and opionions on my options.as for knowing what im doing, well i've never paid any one for working on my cars unless its fitting a custom exaust or getting a wheel alighnment and have built some pretty nice cars.I have asked rush about his conversion kit and now i am comparing.

TOYOTA QUAD CAM V8 TO TURBO SUPRA Kit Check List for 160mm input: 1 off Bellhousing – BH 106 8 off M 12 x 1.25P x 50 long original Toyota Bolts – Bellhousing to motor 3 off M10 x 1.25P x 45 long original Toyota Bolts – Bellhousing to motor 1 off Flywheel – Part no. FW 44 – CRS 1723 & 3 ¼” x 1” dowels 1 off Ring Gear – Ring Gear 07 1 off Clutch Kit RPM1091 – PPlate32/CP03 1 off Spigot Bearing – Part no. SB52A 1 off 10mm Spring Washer Pivot Ball – Standard Supra Clutch Fork – Standard Supra Supra thrust bearing carrier (for short input only) Slave cylinder Push Rod – Standard Supra Slave cylinder bolts – Standard Supra 6 off 8 x 20 x 1.25 Bolts and spring washers 1 off PJB 4154 1 off Slave Cylinder Spacer Plate (use with longer fork).

Flywheel to Crank Bolts – You can use the original 8 off flex plate bolts if they are no shorter than 22mm as shown below. If they are shorter than 22mm you will need to purchase 8 off M10 x 1.25 pitch x 25 long HIGH TENSILE BOLTS.
