Most capable spanner monkeys should be able to do it.
What level of involvement are you prepared to take on?? Are you willing to source and supply parts yourself and just pay for labour at the workshop?? or do you want to just drop it off, and pick it up later??
As for prices, I imagine it'll vary on which parts you decide on, R154 or W58, adapter plate or custom bellhousing etc. Also will depend on what kind of time frame you want it done in.
Drop a line to Thads Cooke as he should be able to give you a reasonable idea and don't think he browses as much these days.

hey darryn, i will be supplying the bits myself i think it will be much cheaper that way, i have lined up a w58 which should be arriving hopefully in the next month or so. why i asked is because there are many imitation mechanics out there some that i wouldnt trust to change oil and water, and because this is quite a big job i would rather spend a bit more to get the job done to a high quality standard, auckland based would be best. azza.

There is a performance specialist in New Lynn - I can't remember their name but can find out if you like - about 7 years ago I had a good look around their workshop after dropping a car off that I had sold (it was going to be race prepped there) and was very impressed with the quality of work they had done on a number of different cars and different projects. Of course that was a long time ago, but I was impressed enough that I'd go back and take another look now if I was considering such a project.

They were on Crum Ave in New Lynn I think, or one of the streets parallel to it, but I can't find a listing that sounds like them any more. I'll drive through that way this weekend and see if I can find it.
