My car used to kickback from drive to first and rev out to redline very nicely. i.e it used to be very snappy. After getting my exhaust done, the auto still kickbacks but only revs up to 4.5k or 5k rpm before changing gears. It seems to have lost its responsiveness. If I go through the gears 1,2,D it goes well. I have a stage one shift kit and have also done a ecu reset.

any help would be appreciated

No worries George. Make sure you have gone for a good drive to get the car all nice and warm and come to a stop on flat ground leave the car on and check via dipstick.

Thanks Cara

I also forgot to add that I had a set of custom dumps installed. The guy that installed them also moved the oxygen sensor from where the original dumps were to further down past the new dumps.

Just wanted to let you guys know that the kickback problem has been fixed. A a new O2 sensor has been moved from after the dumps, right up to the top of one of the dump pipes . The car is kicking back hard and going very well.
