IV read thro a few threads but just hoping to get some answers here
I’m hoping to get my soarer up to 260kW soon [3" cat back,650cc injectors,FPR,255 walbo, blitz spec R FMIC,e-manage blue,e-01 boost controller and running on a mix of the crap 95ron we have in Ireland and 5% bi-ethanol]
iv been told that should result in 260kW ?
Would a stock box be ok with that? I use the car on the 1/4 mile a fair bit and the odd time on a track, it’s also my daily driver.
If I was to go further [aiming for 380-400kW] Would I be better off looking to swap in some other box? If so what box? Id like to keep the car for use on the road
Or should I look at trying to get a built MV box?
My biggest problem is there’s no one here in Ireland that really works on autos and if I were to go the MV road id have to try get a box to them and then back here to Ireland

if your aiming at 400kw, get an MV Auto's rebuild and strengthen, but if your looking at Up to 260kw, you should eb right with the stocker if your holding off to save coin.
Also, it might be better for you to purchase a box in Australia, send it to MV Auto's, then get it sent to Ireland, and sell yours once the upgraded box arrives.
