When the ignition is on, and car still in park, the engine will rev to about 2.5-3000 rpm for about two seconds, then drop completely off and make a sound like its releasing some kind of compressed gas for half a second, then rev again. this doesn't stop until i put it in drive, and even then it revs at random points though not as often. It makes it hard to put it into gear as with the constant revving it jolts when drive is selected as the car is at a higher rev point than idol.
