hey all i have a 91 soarer with a built engine and a gt35/40 turbo i have had the stock auto rebuilt to hold the power, a stage 2 shift kit which is working good but i can't seem to get the stally right when i first had the engine done before i built the box i made 270rwkw on 17 psi since then i have had the box built and had a 3500 stally built which didnt work and gave me a power figure of 247rwkw at 24psi i just got my new stally back which changed to a 3200 and when i put it on the dyno i only made 215 rwkw at 15psi i seem to be going backwards and don't know what to do. Has anybody else out there had these problems and what did they do to fix them

You can try manually enabling the lockup clutch by splicing in a 12v switch to it (can be found via ECU diagram).
To test: Pull one of the solenoid wires (or put a low resistance switch on it) to put the box into diagnostic mode; then run it with the lever in 2nd and the converter locked.
Sounds like either the converter is damaged/lost efficiency (from the series of modifications) or the clutches are losing pressure.

Sorry a bit off the question being asked here, but what exactly is the line pressure you refer to? Is it the kick down cable or something in the valve body? Is there a way to make the clutch packs grip tighter in any way?

The line pressure is controlled by the line pressure cable, on the throttle body, next to the accelerator cable. You can adjust it for more pressure (firmer shifts). Some people call it the kickdown cable, but the kickdown is controlled by the TPS (also on the throttle body).
