Spoke to Mike from MV Auto's yesterday regarding a Tranny to put behind my 1.5j that will handle the power this thing will be making and he tells me the GOOD NEWS. They have just fitted a his latest designed box to his test car, It will handle a load of power and wait for it, IT HAS A TRANSBRAKE, Happy Days

hey cameron. I'm not sure who i spoke to. i think it was a fella from nsw somewhere.. I asked him what exactly could be done to the a130 gearbox to strengthen it.. and he said all anyone can do is rebuild it to stock specs.. he said shift kitting was a waste of time for me and that id have to work on stalling and all this other sh*t. from what iv seen and heard from mates that have gone to mv, you send in your valve body and he makes it do good things...

Cameron, Shane's Box was actually the Test Mule for the transbrake design for the A340's
UNless your hitting the strip, then the transbrake would be useless. If you need a transbrake t get up on boost off the line, chances are you may need some Nos too ,hehe
