Ok guys, I recently bought a manual conversion kit. I told them it didn't matter wether the box was remote shift or not, as I will be customising the shifter anyway. What I did specifiy is that I get Z30 specific pedals.

I have encountered 2 issues with this... 1 they gave me a W58 slave cylinder and 2 A70 pedals and master

The first issue is ok, as they said they will swap it over for the right slave for me. The second is where the issue lies. They don't have any Z30 pedals/hydraulics in stock for another 9ish weeks. Rang toyota and got a mild fright when they told me the current pricing on Z30 pedals and master cylinder (prices obviously based on the yen rate).

So, the question is do you think that I can mod the supra pedal box to fit the soarer? Anyone done this before?

Usually I'd just bite the bullet and go to toyota and pay up on the oem stuff, but the workshop the car is at is moving at the end of next week so need the car running by then and really can't justify spending any more cash on it this month :-(

Its been done before. I don't know the details on how though. The brake pedal is cheap enough as you are only swapping the arm. $70 or for a quick fix, cut the auto one down with an angle grinder to make the pad size the same as the clutch .

Easy to remove, one split pin and one bolt. Hope that helps you out.

Cheers mate. Already got the brake pedal part sorted, just swapped the arms over.

As long as its been done before, then its ok, at least I know its not too dodgy an idea! lol
