I recently purchased the Soarer, and I want to know if someone is experiencing the same thing. When I start the car, and get it moving, from a cold start, it is very difficult to switch into gears, however, after when the car is driven about 15 minutes, everything is good. Keep in mind I live in Canada and it's averaging about 0 degree Celcius.

I'm a fan of heavy weight for high powered cars and even street cars. Light weight will be fine for a streeter and heavy weight for a power hitter.
The viscosity of the redline oils is a bit of a mystery as they quote in normal oil equivilents. Light Weight: Similar to a 75W140 gear oil, but with the lower internal friction of an SAE 30 motor oil.
Heavy weight: 75W250 grade, while providing the same low fluid friction as an SAE 75W90.
So same COLD performance and viscosity between light and heavy, but heavy gets thicker as it gets hotter however maintains a similar viscosity to that of a 75w90 gear oil such as Castrol VMX80.
Since you are at 0 Degrees, you need extremely thin engine oil (0-5w30) and thin GB oil to get everything lubricated so you can shift gears.
R154 boxes are single synchro boxes so hard shifts are a feature
