Anyone have this problem. I got home last night and put my car into Park (I thought). It stayed in drive and moved forward. I played with it but couldn't get it out of gear. The shifter is very loose and won't move things. I've checked the fuses and pushed the button which is supposed to help with the electronic shifter to no avail. The brake lights are working (I noticed that at a different place here). Reall the problem is that my stick shifter doesn't seem to be communicating with the transmission. Any help would be appreciated.

Don, Under the car the shifter linkage hooks onto the gearbox. This has a bolt holding it there. Maybe that has come loose. If you look under the car you will see what im talking about.

From memory it is on the right hand side of the garbox that the linkage runs
