Hey, i just got my exedy heavy duty clutch installed and its giving off a strong clutch smell after i drive it. Is that something i should be worrying about or is that normal?

depends. If you slathered grease onto the splines etc then its bad, the grease could be glazing the plate.

It could just be the clutch braking in, after i installed mine about 2 months ago for about 500ks it had a slight smell that i cant really explain, its basically just the clutch breaking in. Be easy on the clutch for 2 to 300ks to help it bed in, otherwise you could glaze it and screw it.

ok nice i've only done 250km's ill see if it still smells after 500kms.
