Hi I am getting my auto soarer converted to manual and I'm wondering do I have to lose my cruise control?

Thanks

On the Cressida and the Supra you just disconnect the fatter B-W wire that goes to the Speed Control (cruise ecu) and it works again.

However you really should install a clutch switch so the cruise disengages when you step on the clutch pedal.

Not only do you not have to lose it but it can function in all five gears :-)

The answer is on the forums somewhere, I was doing alot of research on doing a manual conversion recently and came across it. Sorry, I can't remember exactly what it was (clutch switch and something else I think) or what thread.
Try doing some searches and see what you turn up.

There are two things I have found.

1. Use a clutch switch
2. Cut the fat black/white wire going to the cruise ECU
