Hi im trying to install a suprastick and just want to make sure that what im doing is correct.
My car does not have any other module\ecu except for the engines ecu. The orange plug that i assume is ment to plug into the ecc is just sitting there empty. for wires 4,13 and 5,14_ do I just cut wire S1 S2 on the engines ecu and hook these up accordingly here? Also I dont have cruise control so do I leave wire 10 unconnected?
on the suprastick there is a twin core wire that looks a bit like speaker wire, there is nothing on the instructions about this, what is if for? How do you go about tuning this with a laptop, what program do I need to run?
The instructions can be for at
http://www.latentsolutions.com/suprastick-1jz.pdf

if you want to see where they tell you to hook up the wires.

Thanks rob, the link was usefull.
Its all hooked up but when I go to test the unit with the car off using the test light as per instructions nothing happends, im thinking this has got to do with the brown cruise control wire 10 being disconnected, anyone know were this goes.

when ignition is turned on the suprastick clicks twice as it is suppose to but im not getting any gear changes.

Ok, its installed and its tuning time. looks like my mph and rpm settings are incorrect. those of you that have got a suprastick v4. do you know what settings i input for the rpm and mph settings? (teeth)
at 1000rpm, the laptop shows 98. does this mean 980rpm?

I need to find a speed sensor output for the ssv4. I have tried sp1 and sp2+ and these didnt work for me. Would sp2- work? or should I try the converter lock up pins nco- or nco+
Do I need to supply the speed sensor pluses to the suprastick in + voltage or - voltage? (Eg nco- or nco+

thanks

You need to use one of your abs wheel sensors as an input pulse for speed.

Lol quite an old thread :-)
