Hey all, got a problem with the auto shifter on my UZZ31.
Within the last week the shifter has started getting stuck in park and will not move until you use the little red button near the auto.
This seems too only happen when the car has warmed up. Once i override it there is no problem changing gears it is still nice and smooth.

Has anyone had/heard of this problem before? And does anyone have any suggestions as to what i can do or should do to try and fix this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I had this same thing last night breifly. Thing wouldn't moce unless i overroad it. Was fine this morning.

If this was a perm thing on my car I wouldn;t be that concerned ..just another anti theft device :-)

Oopen up the console and see if there is anything block or perhaps a loose loom

check your tail light fuses. if one is blown then your car will not shift without using the red button

Try shifting out of park with your foot on the break peddle.
