Having problems with the speed sensor. Original died and displays 0 regardless of how fast you go. Got a replacement from a wrecker (apparently tested) which only works above 100km/h. Below this it displays whatever number it feels like.
The wrecker is sure there is nothing wrong with the unit he sent me. Can the second speed sensor (magnetic pickup type) cause trouble with the readings?

Ross i have a gearbox in the garage with all sensors fitted . Let me know what you need and i can get it shipped to you . See if ti helps and work something out after bud :-)

All sensors worked fine in my car, was my original gearbox .

what was the condition of the plastic cog that sits inside the speedo sensor?
