i have a mate that can manualize my auto tranny and shift kit the tranny. i know what benefits you get with a shift kit but what about manualized tranny

Can run a plug and play ecu. Direct change of gears instantly as you move the stick not when the ect thinks it is a good time. Can control lockup clutch which if you are daring can increase hp put to the wheels. An example of this is 1jz747 going from 125mph to 127mph (with strong headwind at jamboree) with just locking the auto at ¾ track. I am expecting it to go close to 130mph when the weather cools down again and good track conditions are there.

BTW I am just installing my MV autos shift box now. Haven’t driven it yet, but should be this weekend :-)

Where can i get;

"fins, thrust plate, new bearing/s, and change the housing to a camry (or something similar) and get the stally up to about 3000rpm.."

its costing me $190 so if he does a good job, i'll have a spare torque convertor available so he could do that one up and send it down to you if you'd like. Just email me next month to find out.
