Keep in mind guys this is a V8 which has lower stall than a TT torque converter.
I doubt you will get much more than 2200rpm out of the stock V8 torque converter and a little higher stall would be good.
I would expect to pay about $500 for a torque converter alternatively you could try a stock TT converter has about 500rpm of extra stall and you would be able to pick one up for next to nothing.

I wouldnt go more than a 3000rpm convertor in A BLOWN v8 . Its got nothing to do with building boost with a supercharged v9 as with a turbo 6 . WIth blown cars , its all about the flash ,not the stall . Thats what rips it out of the hole .
Yes raising the rpm is important . But you will net great gains from a set of ET Streets and a 2800-3000rpm convertor .
Nice time . would have expected 380rwhp to be alot more like 116mp + however .

Rob , SUperchargers dontneede to build boost, they just make it with rpm .As long as the rpm " flash " to a certain rpm, boost will be there . Hence the flash more important than stall
Boost is always good, thats a non argument right there ;) However traction plays a role
