Ok, got your attention. You gurus out there may be able to peg this right away and I would be most appreciative of any help. This sounds ridiculous but when I'm just gliding not under power at around 40 to 50 km or backing off through that range I get the most subtle but obvious little warbling ray gun sound come up through the auto shift stick and associated subtle vibration. All good at any other speed. Would like to get an idea of what this might be, then get in early so it hopefully does not become a big problem. Love this car.

Got the flush done and plenty of crap fluid came out but shudder still there. Hope it's not the start of something expensive. Wondering what a service would do?

Hey Adam Rotors? Do you mean rotor buttons in the distributor? The shudder is always at specifically 38-48 kph irregardless of what gear I'm in or if the overdrive is on/off so dont know if thats indicative of anything. And no Adam I had the car looked over at S&LS in Ferntree Gully and Doug said it all looked good and test drove with me but DUH, I forgot to mention the shudder to him! Dont know whether they looked specifically at the mounts. Seems stronger when it's cold.

Might be worth checking the whole drive line for any loose bolts. I had a strange shudder that started at 80kph and finished at 83kph accelerating, coasting and decelerating. Turned out to be a missing bolt in the front uni. Good luck
