Hi guys, what is the pan made out of, steel or alloy? Im buying a female weld on fitting to put my trans temp sender into .

btw Blake how did you get a temp source for your trans temp gauge?

so would i use the steel or alloy weld on housing for my sender?

I don't think its tin - tin is not magnetically attractive (in either allotrope? Not sure about this actually...) and the pan has magnets stuck to it - most likely its tin plated pressed steel or a tin alloy of some sort.
