Hi I have been recommended an extreme clutch over an exedy. Anyone have any experiences with these? Thanks

No experience with extreme, but I am running the Exedy HD clutch in the track car. Felt softer than the OEM clutch buut seems to be handling the abuse well.

I have had a Jim Berry clutch in the Road car for the last 8 years and still going strong.

I guess clutch compounds have improved in the same way as brake compounds have improved. Back in the day if you wanted a stronger clutch you ended up with a sore left leg, but these days they seem to be able to give you the best of both worlds.

Extreme Clutches are no good. Jim Berry is the way to go.

Check your other thread. Don't get conned by marketing crap - buy a clutch that is proven to handle 350+ rwkw. Jim Berry Custom sprung 5 puck carbotic 3400+lbs pressure plate special.
