If you are going to put new oil in it you may as well fit a new filter , Drop pan and clean the bottom of the pan as it will have fine metal on all the magnets . You can get filter from Repco . Without a drain in the convertor you won't get 12L back in it I'm sure , there is a small one way valve in the valve body that stops the convertor from draining back .It can be a messy job if your doing it on the ground with Jack Stands but not a hard job .
