I was having all sorts of issues with the car but a recon ecu has fixed most of them. The only problem left is with the auto trans. When its time for it to go into third I only get something that acts like neutral. Second first and reverse are no dramas. Mucking about with revs and that and it sometimes will pick up third but is very irregular. The diagnostic says EFI OK ECT - -. The tranny shop says $3300 for a rebuild without looking at it. I would rather buy a second hand one but wanted to check with the knowledge base if there are other options. Thanks for your help
