Hey guys

I'm looking into getting an MV 1.5 stage shift kit with and 3200rpm torque converter and I was wondering if anyone here was running this setup with the stock twins (+ basic performance upgrades)?

Does this combo produce too harsh a ride for a daily drive or have you found it driveable?

Thanks in advance

I have a stage 1 shift kit , but i am running a SLingshot modified factory convertor . I love the drive , super responsive , shift kit feels a little softer at lower rpm with the convertor now .

What rpm range does your SLingshot converter kick in Daniel?

Not sure what you mean " kick in " . Most people dont understand how convertors work , so they assume the revs just go up 2000rpm more then you start moving , hehe .

Mine is about a 3200rpm - 3500rpm . Heaps mroe fun than driving a stocker :-)

I have that setup on mine Heshan, drives just like stock with the 3200 converter but lets it stall up to about 3500 at the drags. Doesn't noticeably rev any higher driving normally. The harshness of the shiftkit does depend to a certain degree on the kickdown cable adjustment, tightened right up it will give neck snapping changes, but for normal driving it's fine.
