Installed a shift kit by MV automatics today and Ive lost reverse gear... when i engage it it goes forward... all gears except P make the car go forward. Also i think L doesn't move the car anywhere. Does any one know what could be the reason?

Yep . Sounds like you havent connected the linkages inside the gearbox properly .

Need to remove Pan . There is a linkage fork which comes undone when removing the valve body .

Im 95% this is your issue :-) Search for more info, pretty sure someone else posted up a pic .

At the top of PIC 4 . there is the linkage . Connects onto the SAWBLADE looking things .

CHeck to make sure yours is back on where its meant to go :-)

Ahh yeah finally got around to puting everything back in right place, it was a pain in the ass since i cant get my car very high, all the remaining fluid when you removing the valve body would spill right on my face, i stank of ATF Type-4 for days
But now its all over, it shifts nicely and almost feels faster at low revs, thanks mate
