In my quest to fix my tranny ('91 1jz tt) I've come across a tranny from a NA 6, (jzz31 I believe?).
Are these two interchangeable? Would anything need to be modified for it to fit..?

Any guru help would be appreciated.

short answer is no, it will bolt on to the motor but that is it. torque convertor is different, flex plate is different, does not have line pressure cable,
there are more differences.

I have had 2 (A340E) on TradeMe here in NZ, a few tyre kickers but haven't sold them.
