hey so i'm wondering, the MK3 supra's with the R154 gear box, would all their transmission parts such as the clutch cylinder and gear box pedals and such be compatible with a soarer? i've heard that the 7m engine series that came with the r154 gear box was made for the 7m and not the 1jz.
also would a 2jz work on a 1jz ecu? or do i have to get a 2jz ecu for it as well?

im planning on doing a manual swap to my soarer and i found a mk3 supra with 7m gte engine and r154 gearbox and a friend is selling a 2jz with a r154 gearbox as well. so since i can't use the r154 from the supra i was thinking of just using the one that comes with the 2jz, any thoughts? please and thank you guys!!!

Mk4 supra you can use the clutch pedal and master cylinder. R154 from a 7m will need a conversion bellhousing to fit a jz bolt pattern.
you can use a 1jz computer to a 2jz but modifications to wiring loom need to be done aswell as swap sensors etc. Also depends on year model of the two engines there are differences between year models and sensors and connectors and fuse box connectors.. and would want to run single as 1j computer does not control the 2j sequential turbo system. You can modify the twins to be constant twin but becomes a little laggy from what I have been told.

Single 2j with r154 behind it = froth. Do it.
