Start the car, put it into "D" large clunk and car jumps forward, i don't think any jolt happens when put into "R"

What could be wrong?

Have you played with the line pressure or did any work to that area of the engine bay lately?

Jolt when putting car in D.


Your car when warm should idle around 600rpm.
If it is idling at 900rpm-1000rpm, you will get a jolt when putting car in drive.

Same thing happened to me for weeks til I adjusted TPS.

Good luck!

(But check fluids first.)
