I suddenly have no overdrive light on dash and neither is overdrive working. Anyone any ideas. Thanks.

Have you removed the shifter before? I had this happen when the cables on the inside were loose and i pulled it off and plugged cables in and put tape on to keep them their.

Remove the shifter cover where it says over drive with a flat head and see if the cables have come lose and put them back in.

Hi Ekrem. Some years ago replaced original shifter with levoc shifter. All good until now. Maybe wires have come loose will get it checked.

Yeah, more than likely the connection / switch in the shifter has gone bad.

These OD is a simple grounding switch in these cars.

Problem solved. Auto electrician found broken wire in shifter .Thanks Mike. Still intend to get that radio up to you to recap. Just trying to save money at moment.
